Sinopsis:
Ryouta Murakami tak bisa melupakan masa lalunya saat sahabatnya Kuroneko meninggal saat terjatuh dari sebuah bendungan bersamanya karena sedang ingin membuktikan bahwa alien yang dipercayai oleh Kuroneko benar adanya. Hinggak kini Ryouta masih merasa bersalah, ia bahkan selalu belajar dan menjadi seorang angkasawan dan membuktikan perkataan Kuroneko bahwa alien benar-benar ada.
Hingga suatu hari, seorang murid baru muncul di sekolahnya, gadis tersebut ialah Kuroha Neko, alangkah terkejutnya Ryouta melihat sesosok gadis yang sangat mirip dengan teman masa lalunya, Kuroneko. Namun sayangnya Kuroha membantah bahwa ia adalah Kuroneko seperti yang disebutkan oleh Ryouta.
Masih tidak percaya, Ryouta masih penasaran akan siapa Kuroha, saat mereka bertemu di ruang klub astronomi, Kuroha memberitahukan bahwa dirinya dapat melihat masa depan dan mengakui bahwa dirinya merupakan seorang penyihir. Ryouta tak bisa membantah perkataanya ketika Kuroha benar-benar menyelamatkannya dari kematian.
Dari sinilah Ryouta terseret kepada ke dunia mematikan dimana para penyihir lari dari buruan para ilmuwan berbahaya. Mereka memiliki kekuatan unik yang berbeda dari manusia biasa.
